Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation in the world of the television. Her parents are Mexican-American and Irish-American. Her birthplace was in Ohio's Columbus on December 26 in 1976. Within a short time she left Ohio to move to Texas and pursued her physical therapy degree at University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas prior to moving to Orlando, Florida. There she played many roles, ranging including local independent films and world-wide commercials. Despite her small roles, she quickly discovered her passion for acting. In 2001, she moved to New York where her first part was in All My Children's daytime soap in the role of Rosa Santos. Through the first half of 2000, her small parts were appearing on JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. Her first major series appearance was in the 2004 short-lived series The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV stars such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her most memorable role came in 2006 on Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared 85 times. Her next role was on the short-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. De La Garza has been recognized several times for her role, among them Best Supporting Actress in Television in the Imagen Foundation Awards. In 2008, she won the Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition for her outstanding performance in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza got a regular role on CSI Miami a few moments further. She played Marisol Delko's wife and the character of David Caruso Horatio Caine. Her most recent appearance on TV was in the role of Dr. Lena Solis on NBC's somewhat darker show Do No Harm. After only two episodes, the show was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are of Italian heritage and is the younger sister of Cory who is ten years older than her. She was raised by strict and religious parents. Milano was first introduced to acting when she was seven years old. The babysitter took her along for her first audition. She was one of the four girls selected out of over 1,000 hopefuls. Milano was featured on television in commercials as well as off Broadway productions like an adaptation musical to Jane Eyre.
