Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actor for more than twenty years. Her most famous role is Skyler White on her role on the AMC drama Breaking Bad, for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and in 2014 in the category of Outstanding Supporting actress in an Drama Series. She also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. Her passion for acting at Preparatory school after which she moved to Ohio with her family in the mid-70s. She attended theatre classes in the theatre department at Northwestern University and spent a period studying at the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in the theatre in the Chicago region for a couple of years, before attempting her hand at television and films. Anna's first major character was Arden, in Down the Shore. She appeared on 29 episodes. As a guest-star, Anna was on Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. Then it was not until the end of the 1990s when she was cast in the role of The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood in two full seasons. Skyler was in Breaking Bad (2008). In addition, she was a part of the Deadwood film and Sully. Gunn was on stage to star in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. Gunn acted as the character Numbered Days in a four part audio podcast set in 2022. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's marriage to Skyler. Walter White's life story and the strain on his relationship with Skyler can be seen in the television show.
